The tailing dump of Zangezour Copper and Molybdenum Combine is located in the riverbed of Pkhrout River, a tributary to the Voghji River.
The tailing dump is covered with a thin layer of soil, and in a small part of it the locals grow vegetables and other crops, while moors have emerged on the slope. Down the tailing damp there are other cultivated land areas and even orchards in the gorge.
Geghidzor mine is also to be developed and its tailing dump will be located in the gorge of Geghi River, a tributary to the Voghji River.
